2020 is not wasted, it’s still your year to find you!

Have you ever had a day, a week, a month 🗓or even year where you feel like nothing is going your way or how you planned it? Yeah! I well I think most of can agree thats been 2020.

Its not always easy when things don‘t go as planned📋. I mean really who would of thought almost 6 months later and the US 🇺🇸would still be battling this virus🦠 with varying degrees of positivity rates depending on the state.


I will admit I thought ok, two months tops and we’ll be back to normal. Maybe it was my view through my foreign exchange students eyes at his returned freedom in China 🇨🇳 . I mean, if they can be mask 😷 free, restaurant going and back to school 🏫 in only a couple of months we definitely will to, right?

Well, I was wrong and this one really has impacted me mentally 🤯and physically 🤢.

I went from being pretty regimen with my workout💪🏻 schedule to almost never working out👎🏻. Why, you ask? Oh I can give you a plethora of reasons, I mean excuses.

  • the gym closed 🏋🏼‍♂️

  • my workload became a lot(14 days for several months) 💻

  • it was too hot outside to run 🏃‍♀️

  • the grocery store is out of healthy foods🥑

  • my back hurts from sitting all day 🪑

  • blah, blah, blah

I know they are all just excuses to justify getting out of my healthy living lifestyle.

Well once you admit to it, that‘s the 1st step to change. As I sat through a speech recently, the presenter said a line that really resonated with me; 2020 isn’t wasted!

That was exactly the motivation I needed to ensure I don’t waste another minute of 2020 with an excuse and to start to focus of my goal this year to redefine me and my happiness through a healthy lifestyle.


Well, if you’re like me and looking for a little motivation to ensure you don’t waste the remainder of 2020 🗓 then follow me as I document how I’m going to get back on track through my diet🥑, exercise 🏃‍♀️and mediation for healthy mind 🧘‍♀️.


I am going to document, my experiences with different fitness and food apps to help you take the guessing out.

I can admit I’ve downloaded 📲 A LOT during quarantine, now it’s time to use them.
