It has taken me over 2 weeks 🗓 to really master a schedule... please say I’m not the only one?!? and my mental state has been all over the place!🤯

In these past two weeks it’s really allowed me to self reflect on what is important to me, what I miss in my old daily life and I what I really don’t.

I have really assessed the food I’m eating, the gym I’m attending (I finished the transformation challenge exactly where I started 🙄), my daily routine and all in all how I spend my time daily including this blog.

That being said, I‘m changing the NAME of this blog to A Peach 🍑 In Progress! Originally from Georgia, hence the Peach and let’s be honest aren’t we all a work in progress?!? This will continue to be about healthy eating, active living and will now include ways to improve your mind!

My why behind this change.. a couple of realizations I have had:

🍑 The time I have spent with my family wasn’t always meaningful

🍑 I can get a good workout in without spending a lot of money at a high priced gyms

🍑 My kids needed more of my help on their homework

🍑 Ive been reclusive a while because I work from home

🍑I‘m in need of adult friendships

🍑 My diet is a yo-yo

Now I know that‘s a lot of realizations but again I’ve had a lot of time🕰.

Now what other changes am I making besides the name⚖️?!?

Let me start by sharing my journey over the past few weeks. I started by CHANGING my prospective to be happy with this time I’ve been given!

This time is a gift! A once in a lifetime gift of time and I’m determined not to waste it!!

A persceptive can change everything... here are some of the things that I’m so eternally grateful for during this time.

🍑 Online church ⛪️

🍑Walks with my husband 👩🏼‍🤝‍👨🏻

🍑Homeschooling my daughter 🏫

🍑 A job that I can perform from home 💻

🍑Online apps to continue my fitness goals 🧘‍♀️

🍑 Time to work on my skincare regimen 🧴

🍑A home to be safely secure in🏡

🍑A super clean house( now that I have the time) 🧼

🍑 Wine 🍷

🍑 Chats with my friends 👭

Once I changed my prospective🤔, I realized how much time I have to invest in the things that make me happy including what I eat!

Has anyone else had a hard time eating healthy and staying on schedule while being quarantined at home??

Well, you’re not alone🙌🏻 I‘ve had the hardest time eating healthy while being home and staying on schedule.

Between the lack of options left at the store or ease in delivery oppose to food shopping, its just been plain easier to eat unhealthy🍔🍕 than healthy🥗.

Well unless I want to roll out of the door when I’m finally allowed out I better start eating healthy. 🥗 A plus is there always plenty of veggies 🥬🥦left at the grocery store🏪!

I‘ve gone back to a paleo diet and of course using eMeals to help me plan and Instacart to deliver. (Already lost 5 lbs)🎉 Try eMeals for free for 14 days by following this link! http://emeals.com/meal-plans/paleo/

I ordered a food testing kit from EverlyWell to test💉(home test kit) what foods my body is sensitive to and what I should avoid to help me lose weight. I had a friend recommend and she shared she lost over 10 lbs in a month just by eliminating cheese🧀. More to come once I’m tested💉.

If you are interested in food testing as well here is a code to receive 20% off your test!!

I’ve started using OpenFit a fitness app where the 1st 7 days are free. I’ve always wanted to do Barre and it’s giving me the ability to do just that.

This may be our new normal but lets not forget it’s what we make of it. it doesn’t have to be gaining what I’m now calling the quarantine 15 and lying around all day in our pajamas. Its a chance to for a fresh start and a chance to make changes where changes are due. I encourage you to take some time to reflect on what changes do you need to make in this new normal. How can you be more happier?
